From start to finish this was an amazing job. The teams were efficient, friendly, polite, and clean. We had lights and switches installed in 8 spaces- all left incredibly clean. Very happy the job done by Junior, Luigi, Alanda, and several others.

After requesting estimates from multiple companies for an EV charger installation, my husband and I found that Castro Electrical Services made the best offer (including permit work and trenching). They weren't the cheapest option, but we found that they were very communicative, happy to answer questions, and willing to provide estimates for multiple options. The day of the installation, Darwin and Juan were prompt, thorough, and did a great job of cleaning up the interior workspaces that required cutting into drywall and brick. We're happy with the work that Darwin and Juan performed and we'll definitely consider Castro Electrical Services for other projects. Highly recommend!

Castro has worked with me on numerous jobs and have always had excellent communication and work quality. They have also been flexible with scheduling and helping me meet deadlines. I am leaving this review because Jeffrey recently assisted me in solving what seemed like an intractible problem the day of an inspection and made sure my homeowner could move in later that day. I had a great experience with Jorge from Castro Electrical Services. He arrived early, which was a pleasant surprise, and right away, I could tell he was very communicative and professional. He took the time to thoroughly assess my electrical issue and explained everything clearly. What I really appreciated was that he offered a solution without any pressure, giving me the space to make an informed decision. I felt confident in his expertise and would definitely recommend him for any electrical needs.

Beware of this company’s hidden fee of$174 just to walk in your home.

I was told when I booked the service that it would
Be $69 , ok fine assuming that would be absorbed in the final cost.

But as soon as the technician walked in my home he handed me an iPad and asked me to sign off on what would be $174 for him to diagnose the problem. I inquired about the $69 and he said oh that will go away . This fee is so I can come in and see what the problem is, and if it takes me
Longer than 45 mins. Then it would go up. I asked would that be taken off of the final cost the technician said no. Then he called his manager and through the double talk the manager waffled between a no and maybe.
How is this fair and upfront communication. By the way I knew what the problem was . I called and told them My front porch lights didn’t work.

This type of bait and switch and price gauging is ridiculous and unfair. I don’t know that my review will Make a difference but at least someone will read it and take heed.

PS: saying to me to stop yelling at you so as to make it appear as though I was being belligerent or a disruptive rude customer to discount my complaint is an old yet immature and unprofessional smear tactic. Accept that I questioned your policy and take responsibility for trying to rip a person off!

UPDATE: Feb. 25, 2025 ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Please note I want to update my review and add TWO STARS giving a total 3 Stars. This is because the owner, Ali called me immediately after my review and wanted to sincerely help come to a better resolution than what I had experienced. He did send another electrician out to find and fix my issue. He refunded me the $69 “drive out” fee, and while I did have to pay the $174.99 diagnostic fee that was all I had to pay as it took the technician about 40 mins to find and fix what I suspect was a minor issue.

Ali called me the next day the technician was due out and after he had left ensuring I was satisfied with the service.

I would definitely rate this company high in “after the fact” customer service. Also the technicians are EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL and nearly attired. They call several times prior to arrival and even provide a tracking app to let you know how far out they are. Once they figure out and tighten up their communication on what a customer will pay for work and any upfront , diagnostic cost then they will have a 5 star service!
